You will engage in transdisciplinary activities that will further develop your professional experience and academic knowledge. You will have opportunities to increase connections to industry and practicing professionals and mentors. In this double degree students complete the requirements for two separate degrees in four and a half years. The course consists of units in fine arts and education. In the Bachelor of Education component students are prepared as teachers with specialist understandings for secondary school learners in two teaching and learning discipline areas, with one teaching area based on your fine arts major. For the other teaching area you can choose one of: Englishgeographyhistory ormathematics. The dance program at QUT leads the way in developing the creative passions of future dance professionals who aspire to careers outside of dance performance in fields such as dance teaching, choreography, research and academia, community arts practice, dance medicine and science, and arts management. From your first year, you’ll collaborate with students and teaching staff from across disciplines to reflect industry practice, and work on real-world projects briefed by real clients, along with career planning assistance to help you on your creative journey. And, at the most technically advanced creative space in Australia, you can develop your creativity and collaborate and exhibit in technology-equipped spaces. End-of-year showcase events, performances and exhibitions are an important feature of all courses, and are celebrated by friends, family, industry and the arts community. [099058G]

School Level
A school's risk rating is a key factor in determining the evidence required for a student's visa application, making it a crucial point of reference.
For example, if a school has a risk rating of Level 2, the applicant will face more restrictions than in the past and will be required to provide additional documentary evidence, such as proof of English language proficiency and financial capacity
