Queensland University of Technology - Updated Transfer Requirements for Diploma Programs

If you have students who are currently undertaking or have completed a Diploma course at any Australian university, please note that QUT no longer requires a passing GPA for entry to most of the QUT bachelor’s courses. This applies to Business, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Architecture, Communication, Design, Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Education, Social Work, Nursing and more.
If you have students who are currently or have completed a Diploma course at any Australian university, please note that Queensland University of Technology no longer requires a passing GPA for most of its undergraduate courses.
This applies to business, IT, data science, engineering, architecture, media, design, creative arts, fine arts, education, social work, nursing and other majors.
To check the specific entry requirements, please visit the course page, for example QUT - Bachelor of Information Technology (Computer Science), click on the “Requirements” tab and select “Australia” from the drop down list, then you can see there’s no GPA requirement for the Diploma. This means that even if your student has a failing GPA in the Diploma course, as long as they can provide a completion certificate for the Diploma course, they will meet the academic requirement.
