UNSW has made some important adjustments to the New Overseas Student Commencement (NOSC) applications for 2026 intakes.


1.Undergraduate Programs

From 4:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025 (AEDT), all undergraduate programs will close for new NOSC applications across all 2026 intakes.

Further instructions on how to apply for non-NOSC students will be provided in due course.


Some undergraduate programs have already reached their annual international student enrollment capacity.

In these programs:

  • Students who have submitted applications will automatically be assessed for their second choice of major;
  • If the applicant did not specify other choices during the application stage, the application will be withdrawn;
  • Relevant application fees will be refunded within 90 days via the original payment method (if applicable).

The following majors have reached full capacity:

  • Bachelor of Architectural Studies
  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Bachelor of Aviation (RPAS)
  • Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions
  • Bachelor of Food Science
  • Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
  • Bachelor of Materials Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Media (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences

Applications via UAC International, articulating students, and officially sponsored students may still be considered, but places are limited.

Existing offer holders (including conditional offer holders) are not affected and are advised to accept their offers as soon as possible.

Undergraduate programs not listed above will continue to be assessed and offers will be issued.


From now on, all undergraduate applications will be issued in grouped offer rounds, with the main rounds being:

  • T3 2026 Round 1 (Grouped Round 1): Thursday, December 11, 2025
  • T3 2026 Round 2 (Grouped Round 2): Thursday, January 29, 2026

Under this competitive mechanism, most offer requirements will be higher than the minimum admission standards.


2. Postgraduate Programs

Applications for postgraduate programs remain open.We encourage your students to submit their complete application materials as early as possible.

3. 2026 International Student Award

We are pleased to announce:The International Student Award will be increased by 5%.

Starting from Term 1, 2026, eligible applicants will receive a 20% tuition fee reduction, covering the minimum duration of their program.

A number of undergraduate programs have met their annual international enrolment capacity. Where this is the case, existing applicants will have their application assessed for their next preferences. If no additional preference was nominated at the application stage, applications will be withdrawn with application fees refunded via the original payment method within 90 days where relevant. The programs at capacity are as follows:

  • Bachelor of Aviation (RPAS)
  • Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions

  • Bachelor of Materials Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Media (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Science (including doubles)
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences


Applications via UAC International, articulating students and sponsored students will still be considered, however places are limited. Existing offer holders (including conditional offer holders) are not impacted, and should accept their offer as soon as possible.

Undergraduate programs not listed above will continue to be assessed for offers. All undergraduate applications will now be assessed in grouped offer rounds, with the majority of offers to be released in
Term 3, 2026Grouped Round 1 onThursday, 11 December 2025and Grouped Round 2 onThursday, 29 January 2026. This approach will mean that offers will be made on a competitive basis, in most cases above minimum entry guideline requirements.

2026 International Student Award

We are delighted to announce a 5% increase to the International Student Award. This means fromTerm 1, 2026eligible applicants will receive a 20% contribution towards their tuition fees for the minimum duration of their program.
