Queensland University of Technology (QUT) new IT master's programs are now open for applications.
The newly designed master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, now open for applications, are deeply involved in design by industry experts to help students master the latest skills required for future IT careers.
Program Advantages

Master of Cyber Security
With a 60% increase in cybercrime, Australia is expected to lack 20,000 cybersecurity professionals by 2030. This program aims to cultivate high-end talents that meet industry needs. Students will learn from experts in cryptography and security, deeply mastering advanced knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks, network systems, and human factors in security.
Duration:
- 1.5 years or 2 years (depending on background)
Admission Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems).
- If you do not have an IT background, you can choose the two-year program (additional foundational units are required).

Update to Bachelor of Business major
The Financial Planning major in the following degrees and the associated double degrees will be discontinued effective 1 July 2025.
