Make a difference to future generations as a primary or secondary school teacher.The Master of Teaching is a pre-service teaching degree that gives you the skills and knowledge to teach in a primary or secondary school setting. The degree is designed to build upon tertiary qualifications and experience, enabling students to complete a teaching qualification in as little as 18 months with our new fast track options.Your studies are informed by internationally renowned research in English literacy, inclusive education, arts and creativity, regional and rural education, and other areas inspired by the unique challenges and opportunities of education in Tasmania.This course is accredited through the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and is recognised in all Australian states and territories. Practice your teaching skills in a safe and supportive environment with 60 days of professional experience placements in classrooms, graduating with the confidence to inspire the next generation.If you select a secondary teaching specialisation you'll choose two curriculum teaching areas, which are determined by the Major or Specialisation undertaken in the your undergraduate degree.The Master of Teaching is available on-campus in Hobart and fully online by distance.   3. Admission Progress and Fee Payment

    • Submit supplementary documents as required and monitor your admission progress (Conditional/Unconditional Offer).
    • After meeting the conditions, pay the tuition deposit and complete the acceptance procedure (Accept Offer).
  4. Obtain CoE and Arrange OSHC

    • The school issues the CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment).
    • Purchase/confirm OSHC to cover the entire visa period (including dependents, if any).
    • Organize documents for finances, GTE, English proficiency, and medical examination, ensuring consistency with the chosen course.
    • Check the letterheads, dates, translation formats, and certification requirements of visa documents.
