Introduction
When you study for a Bachelor of Primary Education degree at Notre Dame you will be inspired by our innovative approach to teaching, learning and pastoral care. Courses focus on the Key Learning Areas (school subjects) in the primary curriculum – English and literacy, Mathematics and numeracy, Science and Technology, the Arts, Health and Physical Education and the social sciences. You will complete 30 weeks (150 days) of professional experience placements in schools, building your skills and confidence to enter the profession than changes the lives of the next generation. You can select a Specialisation in Religious Education, which will make you eligible for accreditation to teach in Catholic schools, or in English Education, Mathematics Education, Service Learning and Social Justice (WA only) or Special and Inclusive Education.[116884F]
