Introduction
This Honours program provides a fourth year of study for students who have completed a bachelor degree in a relevant field of game design and production, animation or film. This is a research-led program for students passionate about advancing their discipline and exploring the limits and intersections of narrative art, cinematic storytelling, and interactive digital media. Offering an intensive study of the theoretical, technical, and creative aspects of the cinematic arts, it delivers a strong emphasis on developing a comprehensive understanding of applied research methods and practices. Working independently and/or collaboratively, you will have the opportunity to concentrate on a specialisation within the rapidly evolving and converging fields of animation, film/screen media, and game design. Engage in research, critical analysis, and practical experimentation culminating in an original research project.
