1. Not an Australian or New Zealand citizen.

2. A full-time student for the 2025 First Semester.

3. Accept Griffith University's offer and complete the deposit payment within 14 days after receiving the Letter of Offer. The acceptance date for this scholarship will be clearly stated in your offer letter.

4. Enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses (some exceptions apply, see the end of the article for details).

Application Process

1. Apply for admission:Apply for Griffith University's 2025 First Semester undergraduate or postgraduate course programs.

2.Eligibility Confirmation: If you meet the application conditions, we will confirm your eligibility and the scholarship acceptance date in the 'Tuition and Other Fees - Additional Information' section of your offer letter.

3.Accept the Offer and Pay the Deposit: Applicants must accept the offer and pay the full deposit fee before the scholarship acceptance deadline.

Applicants mustaccept Griffith University's offer and complete the deposit payment within 14 daysafter receiving the admission notice.

Scholarship Disbursement

• After officially becoming a member of Griffith University, the school will credit the scholarship to the student's personal account before the tuition clearance date of the first semester,this scholarship will directly offset part of the tuition,however, apart from the portion covered by the scholarship,students still need to pay the remaining tuition based on the specific fees of the courses they have chosen.The tuition amount is calculated based on the course setup and fee standards of the chosen major, therefore, students need to ensure full payment of the due amount before the tuition clearance date.

• The Early Bird Scholarship is credited to the student's account in the form of a credit,if the student withdraws or cancels the application for any reason, the scholarship will not be refunded.

Special Notes

✦For students who defer their enrollment beyond the 2025 First Semester, the university will not issue this scholarship.

✦This scholarship is open to a wide range of international students, but please note that students in the following specific situations are not eligible to apply:

Students pursuing higher research degrees, non-degree course registrants, participants in overseas exchange programs, pre-master's course students, and students in specific professional fields such as Dentistry (course codes: 1577-1638, 1574-1580, 2126, 5702-5703, 5699), Psychology (course codes: 5070, 5747, 5753), Medicine (course codes: 1280, 5099), Nursing and Midwifery (course codes: 1162, 1354), Master of Speech Pathology (course code: 5567), Bachelor and Master of Social Work (course codes: 1372, 5621), Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (course code: 1604), Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (course code: 1355), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) (course code: 1662), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) (course code: 1590), etc. Additionally, students in English language courses at Griffith English Language Institute, part-time course students, students in joint training programs with partner institutions both domestically and internationally, Australian scholarship/government-funded students, foreign government-funded students, and students admitted through special pathways are also not eligible for this scholarship.
