1. Deakin International Scholarship - 25%

Automatically Grant Scholarships for Priority Market

  • Must be a new international student enrolling in Trimester 1 2026.
  • Must be a full-fee paying student (not government-funded).
  • Must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.
  • Must achieve a WAM > 65

(*Not applicable to quota courses)



2. Automatically Grant Scholarships for VCE Students


1. Deakin International Scholarship – 25%

  • Have received an offer from Deakin University
  • Achieve an ATAR of 75 or above
  • Not applicable to quota courses

2. STEM Scholarship – 20%

  • Have received an offer from the Faculty of SEBE
  • Achieve an ATAR that is 5 points higher than the previous year's minimum entry score for the program
  • Must be a citizen of one of the following countries/regions: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam

3. Global Education Scholarship – 20%

Have received an offer for one of the following Deakin courses:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary)
  • Bachelor of Health and Physical Education

4. Warrnambool Campus International Bursary – 20%

Have received an offer for one of the following courses at Deakin's Warrnambool Campus:

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary)
  • Bachelor of Marine Science
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Nursing / Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Bachelor of Nursing / Bachelor of Psychological Science


3. New: Priority Bursary Scholarship Program


Priority BursaryAims to support students from the Asian region in achieving their study goals at Deakin University.

Students awarded this scholarship will also enjoy:

  • Priority Admission Processing;
  • Priority Accommodation.

Applicable regions:
Brunei, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.


Application conditions:

  • International student enrolling in 2026;
  • Self-funded full-time student (not government-funded);
  • Not a quota-limited course.

Scholarship amount:

  • AUD $2,000: Accept the offer within 2 weeks of receiving it (and must be completed 4 weeks before the start of the semester);
  • AUD $1,500: Accept the offer within 4 weeks of receiving it (also must be completed 4 weeks before the start of the semester).
