I. English Language Requirements Update: Applicable to applications for mid-2026 intake and beyond

Flinders University has further simplified the ways for students to meet English requirements. We now additionally accept the following tests:

• LanguageCert Academic (in-person test only)
• IELTS One Skill Retake (applicable to coursework and research programs)
• Duolingo English Test (continues to be recognized)

Important Reminder (the following majors do not accept LanguageCert and Duolingo):
Nursing, Medicine, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Emergency Medicine, Psychology.

We recommend agents to promptly share this update with students preparing to submit applications for mid-2026 and beyond.

II.Important Update: Bachelor of Clinical Science / Doctor of Medicine (Dual Degree)

Starting from the 2027 intake, students applying for this dual degree program will no longer be able to gain admission through the Foundation pathway.

III. Mid-2026 Intake Open for Applications: Bachelor of Nursing (Preregistration)

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Bachelor of Nursing (Preregistration) for the July 2026 intake (Mid-Year, July Intake).

• This intake is only available at the Bedford Park campus.
• Only new students entering in the first year are accepted.
• There are only 30 spots, which are filling up quickly. Please apply as soon as possible.

Due to potential fluctuations in student visa processing times, please remind students to apply early to ensure smooth enrollment.
