1. Increase in Visa Risk Level (Evidence Level)
Flinders University's latest Evidence Level (institution risk level) has been updated on the Document Checklist of the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website.
With a higher institution level and ISP Priority Level 1 visa processing priority, student visa processing speed and approval rates will be more advantageous.
2. SATAC Year 12 Application Notes (Need to know: SATAC Year 12 applications)
We are pleased to share important SATAC application arrangements for international Year 12 students wishing to apply to Flinders University:
- All students who choose Flinders University through the SATAC system will receive an Intent to Offer Email;
- After the ATAR results are released, if they meet the admission requirements, the system will automatically issue an offer for their highest preference;
- Students can change their preferences before the ATAR results are released, and can contact us to adjust courses after receiving an offer;
- Students who do not apply through the SATAC system can apply directly to the university;
- Eligible applicants will automatically be considered for scholarships (up to 30% tuition fee reduction);
- If students do not meet the admission requirements, they will receive a packaged offer for Flinders University Academy (foundation/language pathway courses);
- Please remind students to pay close attention to important SATAC dates;
- Once an offer is received, students must accept it as soon as possible and complete the registration steps to secure their place.
3. Latest Scholarship Updates (Make the most of our updated scholarships)
Kickstart Scholarship
We are very pleased to announce thatthe Kickstart Scholarship (20% tuition fee reduction)has been extended until2026 intake.Key points:
- No minimum GPA requirement;
- Reduction applies for the entire study period;
- Applicable to all new international undergraduate and postgraduate students (applicants within or outside Australia);
- No separate application required, automatically assessed by the system

International High School Scholarship
OurInternational High School Scholarship(15%–30% tuition fee reduction,depending on ATAR or equivalent scores) continues to support outstanding international high school graduates.
Key points:
- Reduction of up to 30%, applicable for the entire study period;
- Open to all international high school students worldwide;
- Applicable to most courses except for the dual degree in Medicine (Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine);
- No separate application required, automatically assessed, results will be reflected in the offer letter

4. Limited Places for Nursing Course (Limited places remaining: Bachelor of Nursing (Pre-Registration))
OurBachelor of Nursing (Pre-Registration)course for the2026 first semester is about to be fully booked.
To avoid students missing out, please remind them to submit their applications as soon as possible.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of all application requirements.
5. High Demand for Medical Course (Doctor of Medicine) in the Northern Territory
Flinders University's Doctor of Medicine program combines world-class medical teaching with real-world clinical practice experiences.
