1. Deadline for submission of final documents for Conditional CoE

For students holding a Conditional Confirmation of Enrolment (CCoE) from UQ, the deadline for submitting final documents is August 22, 2025.

Students must submit certified copies of their final transcripts and degree certificates (if applicable) to confirm that they have met all conditions of their UQ offer.

Please ensure that students are aware of this deadline and submit their documents to the following as soon as possible:

2. Late arrival policy for S2 2025

If applicants are unable to arrive in Australia on time due to visa delays, please note that all international students can arrive and commence their studies by August 8, 2025 (the second weekend of S2), provided they have completed their enrollment and are ready to attend classes.

Some programs (click here: programs are excluded) do not allow late arrival.

3. Updates to English language requirements for Nursing and Midwifery programs

UQ has updated the list of countries applicable to the English language requirements for Nursing and Midwifery programs.

According to the standards of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) effective March 18, 2025, South Africa will only be recognized until the S1 semester of 2026, applicable under clause 11(b).


4. QTAC application process and important dates

Starting from Tuesday, August 5, 2025, you can assist Year 12 international students with their applications through the QTAC portal.

Offer release times:

  • First round application deadline: September 19, 2025. Offer release time: October 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM (AEST)
  • Second round application deadline: November 14, 2025. Offer release time: November 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM (AEST)
  • Third round application deadline: January 9, 2026. Offer release time: January 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM (AEST)


5. QTAC change of preference

  • Before the results are released (before December 18, 2025): Changes can be made through the QTAC portal.
  • After the results are released (from December 18, 2025): Please contact KOKOS and send an email to:

6. Agent Nominations (This step is mandatory)

Please complete the 2026 QTAC Agent Nomination Authorization Form (as attached), contact KOKOS, and send it to:

To avoid delays, please use the following email subject format:
'QTAC—Agent nomination—QTAC application number—Student full name' and attach the QTAC payment receipt as proof of application submission.

Incomplete materials will affect processing speed.

Agent nomination deadlines for each round:

  • First round: September 26, 2025
  • Second round: November 21, 2025
  • Third round: January 16, 2026

📌 Please note: All Year 12 student QTAC applications must be completed by January 9, 2026.

📌After this date, applications can only be submitted through the UQ portal and will not be eligible for bonus points.


7. New GSS form and process

Effective immediately, applicants from countries designated by UQ must use the latest version of the Genuine Student Statement form.

This form is used to assess the quality of the application and confirm the genuine intentions of the student, and includes an 'Agent Declaration' section to strengthen the responsibility of the agent.

To ensure a smooth transition, the old version of the GSS form will still be accepted until August 31, 2025. After this date, only the new version will be accepted.

⚠️ Please note: Although it is only mandatory for designated countries, assessors may also require applicants from low-risk countries to submit this form based on individual judgment.

Late commencement


Should applicants face delays with receiving their student visa, please be aware that all international students will be allowed to commence up to 8 August 2025 (the end of Week 2, Semester 2, 2025), provided they have completed their enrolment and are ready to attend classes by this date.


Some programs are excluded and do not permit late commencement.


After this date, international students seeking approval for late commencement will be required to submit their request via email to


ELP Update – Nursing & Midwifery Programs


UQ has updated the designated countries list for English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements specific to Nursing and Midwifery programs. South Africa will only be recognised until Semester 1, 2026 under Clause 11(b). These changes reflect updates to the NMBA English Language Skills Registration Standard effective 18 March 2025.


QTAC application process and important dates

• Applications submitted before 19 September 2025.

• Offers released by 5pm AEST on 2 October 2025.


Round 2:

• Offers released by 5pm AEST on 28 November 2025.


Round 3:

• Applications submitted before 9 January 2026.

• Offers released by 5pm AEST on 19 January 2026.

For easy identification and to avoid any delays, please use the email subject as 'QTAC—Agent nomination—QTAC application number—Student full name'. The QTAC payment receipt should be attached to confirm application lodgement. Missing documents will delay the agent nomination process. Below are the nomination deadlines for each offer round. Please ensure submissions are made before the due dates.

New Genuine Student process and form


Effective immediately, all applications from countries identified by The University of Queensland must be accompanied by the recently updated Genuine Student Form. This form is essential for assessing application quality and verifying the genuine intent of prospective students. It also includes an agent declaration section, reinforcing the critical role our partners play in maintaining application integrity.



To support a smooth transition, the previous version of the GS Form will continue to be accepted for new applications until 31 August 2025. After this date, only the updated version will be accepted.



Please note: While the form is mandatory for identified countries, assessors may also request it from applicants in lower-risk countries if deemed necessary based on individual circumstances.
