We are delighted to share with you the latest updates from Southern Cross University, which contain key information to assist you in your recruitment efforts.


1. Early Childhood Education courses are now reopened for T4 (August) enrollment

Applications for the T4 (August) 2025 intake for the Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and the Master of Teaching – Early Childhood are now reopened.

Limited places are available in Gold Coast, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and online study options. Please submit your application through StudyLink. Due to the very limited number of places, we strongly recommend that you submit your application and complete the acceptance process as early as possible.


2. Designated course commission bonus

We are very pleased to announce: each student will receive a recruitment bonus of AUD 1,000, applicable to students who accept their offer from July 4, 2025 onwards.

This bonus applies to students enrolling in T3, T4, T5 2025 and T1 2026, and must be studying at the main campuses (Gold Coast, Lismore, or Coffs Harbour) of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (including IT) or the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts.

If the student holds a packaged offer, the bonus will be applied to the principal course (i.e., the main course enrolled in the above-mentioned semesters).

Please note that this bonus is not applicable to student groups enrolled through SCU's overseas partner universities.



3. Graduate Diploma of Teaching – Secondary

This course is currently experiencing a high volume of applications, with processing times for main campus and online applications expected to be 4–6 weeks. To help us assess more efficiently, please ensure that the student's main teaching area is filled in the blank remarks column on the application form.

We are actively allocating additional resources to reduce processing times and will keep you updated on any subsequent changes.


4. Master of Nursing T4 (August) enrollment

August enrollment is still open.However, we recommend submitting applications only for those students who **have already met all academic and language requirements (including IELTS, etc.)**.


5. Diploma of Health (Nursing Pathway)

Previously, students with an ATAR of 70 or above could not enter the undergraduate degree through the Diploma of Health course.

This restriction has now been lifted, and eligible students can now enter the nursing undergraduate degree through this pathway.

We are pleased to announce the re-opening of the T4 (August intake) for the Graduate Diploma and Master of Teaching (Early Childhood). Limited places are available across our Gold Coast, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and online study options, and applications can be lodged via StudyLink.

Campaign Bonus for Eligible Courses
We’re pleased to announce a $1,000 campaign bonus per student enrolled, applicable to offers accepted from today, 4 July 2025, onwards. The bonus applies to students commencing in T3, T4, T5 2025 and T1 2026, and is valid for any course within the Faculty of Science and Engineering (including IT) and the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts at our main campuses — Gold Coast, Lismore, and Coffs Harbour. Packaged offers are eligible, with the bonus paid on the principal course if it starts in one of the campaign intakes. This offer excludes cohorts enrolled through SCU’s overseas university partners and is in addition to existing commissions and incentives already in place.

All agents are required to maintain up-to-date, public-facing information within a reasonable timeframe. Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary)
We’re currently experiencing high application volumes for this program, which has extended processing times to approximately 4–6 weeks for main campus and online applicants. To help us assess applications more efficiently, please ensure the student’s main teaching area is entered in the free-text section of the application form. We are allocating additional resources to reduce turnaround times and will keep you updated on any changes.





Master of Nursing (T4 – August Intake)
The August intake remains open. However, we recommend submitting applications only for students who have already met all academic and English language requirements, including IELTS and any relevant prerequisites.

Diploma of Health (Nursing Pathway)
Previously, students with an ATAR of 70+ or equivalent scores were not permitted to undertake the Diploma of Health as a pathway into the Bachelor of Nursing. Please note that this restriction has now been lifted and eligible students may now enrol via this pathway.
