The University of Canberra (UC) has newly launched multiple international scholarship programs, providing more financial support for international students choosing to study at UC!
These scholarships aim to reward outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional achievements on their academic journey, helping you focus on your studies and future while alleviating financial burdens.
How to Apply
To make the application process simpler, the international scholarships at the University of Canberra do not require an additional application.When you submit your application for admission to UC, the university will automatically assess your eligibility for scholarships based on your grades.

UC Merit Scholarships
10% Tuition Fee Reduction Requirements
- Students directly entering UC undergraduate programs: Achieve a college entrance exam score of 436 or above (out of 750)
- Students directly entering UC postgraduate programs: Achieve an undergraduate GPA of 65% or above
- Depending on the chosen major and course, up to approximately AUD 5000 in tuition fees can be waived per year

UC North Asia Excellence Scholarships
30% Tuition Fee Reduction Requirements
- Students directly entering UC undergraduate programs: Achieve a college entrance exam score of 487 or above (out of 750)
- Students directly entering UC postgraduate programs: Achieve an undergraduate GPA of 75% or above
- Depending on the chosen major and course, up to approximately AUD 15000 in tuition fees can be waived per year
University of Canberra Partner Institution Program Scholarships
If you are pursuing a flexible and free learning style and aspire to enjoy top-notch educational experiences in Australia, then the International Partner Institution Scholarship might be the ideal choice for you.
This scholarship is specifically awarded to outstanding students transferring from UC's international partner institutions to the Bruce campus, helping you achieve your academic dreams at UC.

University of Canberra College Scholarships
In addition, the college also offers very generous scholarships for students intending to study foundation, international first year, or pre-master's programs. Students attending language courses will also receive a 15% tuition fee discount.
*The AUD 500 English Excellence Scholarship is applicable to students enrolling in the 2025 S1/T1 foundation, international first year, or pre-master's programs and meeting the language requirements or those taking a language course of 10 weeks or less.
**The progression scholarship is applicable to students who do not meet the UC main course scholarship requirements when applying for packaged courses.
***The language course scholarship is applicable to students transitioning to UCC or UC academic main courses
