On April 21, 2024, Curtin University successfully heldCurtin on the Bund 'Curtin University·Night of Blossoms'event.This was not just an exclusive annual gala for Curtin University, but also a moment to express heartfelt thanks and respect to the partners, agents, and alumni who have long cared for and supported the construction and development of Curtin.
Since its establishment, Curtin University has been actively expanding its international influence, committed to cutting-edge research, offering innovative courses, andconsistently maintaining its position in the top 1% of global university rankings. In thelatest 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject, Curtin University shone brightly, with dazzling achievements, and we are proud of this.

Outstanding Achievements·Shining on the Bund
Professor Zhang Xiaotian, Global Executive Vice President of Curtin University, and Professor Vanessa Chang, Vice President of the Faculty of Business and Law at Curtin University, also attended the event. Professor Zhang Xiaotian emphasized the importance of Curtin alumni to the university's past, present, and future, and congratulated the alumni on their outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
The event also invited John Williams, the Australian Consul-General in Shanghai, who shared the functions of the Australian Consulate-General in Shanghai and the services provided to Curtin alumni.
Multilateral Exchange·Sharing the Future
The event invited partners from Curtin's cooperative institutions, intermediary agents, current students, and alumni, with over 120 people attending. While enjoying the magnificent scenery of the Bund and exquisite snacks, everyone gained a deeper understanding of Curtin's latest development strategies and academic achievements.
Alumni from different campuses and majors of Curtin around the world gathered on this day to talk about personal development and explore cooperation opportunities. Live performances and music pushed the atmosphere to a climax, with everyone dancing to the music to celebrate Curtin's annual night.
Award Ceremony·Honor Gala
Thehighlights of the event also included an award ceremony, recognizing the outstanding achievements of partners and alumni over the past year, congratulating alumnus Revina Zhou for winning 'The Alumni Award for Global Impact', and alumnus Bing Wenjia for winning 'The Alumni Award for Global Changemaker'.
These awards are not only an affirmation of the outstanding contributions of the alumni but also an inspiration for future Curtin alumni, looking forward to more Curtin alumni blossoming in more fields and achieving more outstanding achievements.
