Taylor College Update (No longer accepting students for USFP/Bachelor of Commerce or any combined degrees with Bachelor of Commerce at Taylors College Sydney for the first semester of 2025)

In response to the recent introduction of international student caps in Australia, places at the University of Sydney will be limited in 2025 and 2026. I am writing to advise you of a change to our program offerings at Taylors College Sydney for students progressing
to study at the University of Sydney in 2026.  

We are no longer enrolling students into the USFP/Bachelor of Commerce - or any degrees combined with Bachelor of Commerce - commencing at Taylors College Sydney in Semester 1 2025 (progressing to the University of Sydney in Semester 1, 2026).  We will continue
accepting applications into all other programs currently on offer. 

This decision does not impact any of your students who have already accepted offers into the USFP/Bachelor of Commerce or any degrees combined with Bachelor of Commerce in 2025 and have received Confirmation of Enrolment. For students awaiting Confirmation
of Enrolment, we are carefully reviewing their study options and will update them next week. We will also update you about applications for future semesters as soon as we have more information. 

This decision also does not impact any current students at Taylors College who meet the entry requirements for their packaged offers. They continue to be guaranteed a place into their packaged degree at the University of Sydney in 2025.  For students who do
not meet the entry requirements for their packaged degree, Taylors College and University of Sydney staff will support them to explore alternative study options. 

With the introduction of international student enrolment caps in Australia, I encourage you to carefully consider your students’ academic goals and expectations when advising a study path. Like you, we want to ensure they are best placed to succeed.
