RMIT's foundation courses are designed to prepare you for successful university entry. This course is a direct pathway to RMIT degree programs, covering various fields. This open experience class mainly involvesart, design, and architecture directions,the speaker is Alec Robinson,the experience class will be conducted in English.


Speaker Introduction:



Alec Robinson is a teacher in the art, design, and architecture direction of the Melbourne Foundation Course in Australia, he has taught art and design courses to various age groups in multiple educational institutions,bringing rich experience to the foundation course.Alec enjoys teaching the next generation of artists and designers, helping them explore and navigate their personal styles. He firmly believes that inclusive spaces allow all students to thrive and achieve their expected creative outcomes. When not teaching, Alec produces handmade ceramics for businesses and enjoys painting large abstract paintings. His interest in both traditional and modern aspects helps inform the evolving classroom, meeting the needs of all learners.


Course Overview:


This open experience class focuses on


creative thinking and the design process, introducing students to the creative process and methods for generating art and design ideas. Through interactive activities, students will have the opportunity to explore their creativity using techniques and methods commonly used by artists and designers in the early stages of the design process.
