Developing Professional Knowledge and Skills

Through this course,you will master knowledge in four major areas:

  • Medical, psychiatric, orthopedic, and neurological conditions that affect individual health and well-being.

  • The theory and practice of occupational therapy, including occupational studies and the analysis of the physical, psychological, and social requirements of various skills and activities.

  • Human development, including issues accompanying normal growth and development throughout the life cycle, such as learning disabilities and the effects of aging.

  • Occupational health and management, including health prevention, education, and rehabilitation programs for workers in various workplaces.


In addition, you will also learn and develop relevant professional skills:

  • Combining occupational therapy knowledge, related principles, and practice,proposing effective occupational therapy solutions for clients through critical analysis, reflective practice, and professional reasoning.

  • Evaluating information with critical thinking and applying it in therapeutic work,communicating effectively and appropriately with clients to ensure their active participation, preparing relevant documents and reports, and sharing professional information.

  • Assessing and adopting appropriate treatment plans and applying them in practical work.
