The application deadline for T2T3 2024 has been advanced. The school will contact students to understand their application intentions and adjust the review timeline accordingly.

1.Application system upgrade stops accepting applicationsTime

UNSW will perform important updates to the Student Information Management System (SiMs) during the Easter weekend,meaningthe online application and online acceptance systems will be offline from6:30 PM AEDT Thursday, March 28, 2024, to 11:59 PM AEDT Sunday, March 31, 2024.

During this period, it will not be possible to submit applications or access them.

2.Update on application deadlines

Due to the aforementioned system downtime, the application deadlines for UNSW T2T3 have been brought forward as follows:

• On-time application deadline for Semester 2, 2024from Sunday, March 31to Monday, March 25
  

• On-time application deadline for Semester 3, 2024from Wednesday, July 31to Monday, July 1

3. Longer application processing times

Due to unprecedented interest in studying at UNSW, some applicationsfor Semester 3, 2024, are experiencing longer than usual processing wait times.Longer wait times may lead to greater uncertainty, and applicants' study plans may change.

To better serve all applicants, we will conduct an applicant verification campaign over the next six weeks. This will mean that those applicants who have been waiting the longest for results will have the opportunity to have their applications prioritized, deferred, or withdrawn, and receive refunds as appropriate.

Starting Wednesday, March 20 (this Wednesday),we will communicate with applicants in batches, starting with those who have been waiting the longest, moving backward to reduce the overall wait time for all applicants.

During this process, we will offer applicants the following options:

• 1Still wish to study at UNSW in Semester 3, 2024. Prioritize my application:Applications will be assessed within the next 10-12 business days.

• 2No longer intend to study at UNSW:Applicants will receive a refund as appropriate.

• 3. Deferthe application to 2025:Applicants choosing to defer will receive application assessment results within 20 business days.

Each application will also include a response deadline.

If no response is received by the deadline, we will withdraw the application and refund the application fee.
