Victoria University's updates for April 2024 intake

Please see below for updates from Victoria University for the April 2024 intake.

Attached are the courses starting in April, please note:

-Master of EducationThe Master of Education (starting in April) only accepts second-year entry (students who have completed GD Early Childhood and obtained one year of credit towards the Master of Education).

-Bachelor of Nursing forThe Bachelor of Nursing degree, starting in April, is only applicable for first-year entry.

- Non-student visa holders can study the Master of Education online, second-year entry courses.

Please help promote this to your prospective students—if they wish, they can now study this course online (*Only second-year entry subjects).

 Admission updates and application turnaround time

-VU no longer accepts onshore applications from tourist visa holders. Applicants are more than welcome to apply from offshore.- Currently, the application assessment cycle is 3-4 weeks. We can only prioritize visa applications that are about to expire. We aim to expedite the approval process within 2 weeks! We will keep you updated.

1. 1.       Key dates for April intake (1B3 – semester 1 Block 3)

I have attached the course list for your reference. I note that:

- Master of Education for 1B3 is only for 2^ndyear entry (for those who complete GD Early Childhood and gain 1 year credit towards M Education)

- Bachelor of Nursing for 1B3 is only for 1^styear entry only.

1. 2.       2^ndyear entry Master of Education is offered online study for non-student visa holders

Please help to promote this to your prospective students – they can now study this course online if they wish (*2^ndyear entry subjects only).

1. 3.       Admission updates & application turnaround time

- VU no longer accept the onshore application from tourist visa holder. The applicant is more than welcome to apply from offshore.

- Application assessment turnaround is 3 – 4 weeks at the moment. We can only prioritise the visa expiring cases for you. We are aiming to have a faster turnaround time in 2 weeks! Will keep you posted.
