Federation University Cancels Confirmation of Enrolment for Future Students Waiting on Visas
Federation University has made the decision to cancel the Confirmation of Enrolments (CoE) for future students who have not yet received their visas to commence studies in Semester 1, 2024. This move comes amidst concerns for the well-being of the students and aims to avoid the risk of visa refusals, which could potentially lead to immigration visa exclusion periods.
With a number of applicants still awaiting visa processing by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), the university has deemed it necessary to take proactive measures to mitigate any risks associated with visa outcomes. As such, applicants with cancelled CoEs are urged to withdraw their visa applications with the DHA promptly.
"We kindly ask for your support to ensure that those applicants who have a cancelled CoE withdraw their visa application with DHA immediately. This is a positive action we can take to mitigate any risk to the future student’s study plans"
Affected applicants will be assisted in deferring their applications to the next available intake of their chosen course, allowing them to continue their academic journey with Federation University. The university remains committed to supporting its students throughout the application process and beyond.
