Introduction
The study of psychology is both rewarding and diverse, opening the door to a wide range of careers where you will make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others. Graduates are required to complete six years of education and training to be eligible for registration as a practicing Psychologist. As the final stage of this pathway, the Master of Psychology (Clinical) ensures graduates are equipped with advanced research, ethical and clinical skills, preparing them for placements in external settings across Years 5 and 6. The Master of Psychology (Clinical) combines coursework subjects with extensive clinical practice, much of which will be undertaken on campus at the Bond University Psychology Clinic. Upon completion of the program, graduates can apply for general registration with the Australian Heath Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Note: Applicants will need to have completed the accredited four-year sequence of a Bachelor’s degree and a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science or the Honours year. You will also need to apply for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) before commencing the Master’s program.Coursework and placements require students to attend in person on campus and at external placement location.
