The course covers key areas of electrical circuits signals and systems energy conversion power electronics power systems electrical power distribution and protection systems control systems and renewable energy. The curriculum also covers sensors artificial perception and Internet of Things (IoT) in smart energy systems. There is a strong focus on research and project-based learning to apply learned concepts including an independent research project in final year.
