Introduction
This degree is unlike any other project management degree in Australia and will provide you with the fundamental project management skills, theories and methods required in today's complex business environment. Subjects include project finance, statistics, analytics, risk management, organisational behaviour and psychology. You can choose a stream from civil engineering science, built environment or software. Extend your knowledge of your undergraduate degree with a stand-alone Honours year in your subject area expertise. This course is available to students who have already completed their studies in this study area.Bachelor of Project Management students, may, upon completion of their degree requirements, qualify to enrol in the Bachelor of Project Management Honours program.To qualify for the award of the Bachelor of Project Management with Honours, a student must successfully complete an additional year of study (the Honours year).To qualify for the award of the honours degree a candidate must complete 48 credit points of honours units of study from the Honours Table, as prescribed by the Head of School. The honours mark is determined by calculating a weighted average mark (WAM) from the 48 credit points of honours level units of study.As a specialist degree, the aim of honours is not to cover the full breadth of project management, but rather to introduce students to the cutting edge in selected areas of research and practice. It provides an opportunity to become actively involved in the research carried out by members of the school. Graduates take skills with them into the workplace which give them a competitive edge.
