Job Description
- Analysing interrelationships between economic variables and studying the effects of government fiscal and monetary policies, expenditure, taxation and other budgetary policies on the economy and the community
- Researching, analysing and assessing the effects of labour market programs and industry policies and programs on economic growth, welfare, education and training
- Investigating international and national economic situations, and particular features such as industries, regions and socioeconomic groups
- Studying workplace issues such as enterprise bargaining and wage fixation, and the effect of workplace policies on productivity and economic growth
- Analysing trends and advising on economic issues such as taxation levels, prices, employment and unemployment, imports and exports, and interest and exchange rates
- Forecasting changes in the economic environment for short-term budgeting, long-term planning and investment evaluation
- Formulating recommendations, policies and plans for the economy, corporate strategies and investment, and undertaking feasibility studies for projects
- Preparing reports on research findings

How to Apply- Select a nominated occupation for assessment based on the purpose of your visa application;
- Through the VETASSESS online application system, fill in the form, deduct the fee, and upload the documents;
- Track application progress and follow application status
- If additional documents are required, VETASSESS will send an email notification;
- After completing the skills assessment application, you can view the results and download the result letter in the VETASSESS online application system. A copy of the result letter will generally not be mailed to you unless you request it in the skills assessment application and pay the postage.
Skills Assessment RequirementsWork Experience Requirements
- In the past 5 years, you must have at least 1 year of post-graduate work experience that is highly relevant to your academic qualifications. Only paid, full-time work experience can be recognized (internships, work during doctoral studies (partially subsidized by the school), and other part-time work are not considered work experience).
Academic Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above. (If the applicant does not have a degree certificate, he/she cannot apply for Group A job evaluation);
- The academic degree and major are highly relevant to the nominated occupation;
English Language Requirements
- No need to provide proof of English language proficiency
