Introduction
We have a team of qualified, experienced clinical academic educators to deliver the Griffith University 3rd and 4thyear rural medical student program, general practice exam preparation programs and VET training.
RuralMedEd has partnered with Griffith University to deliver the University's rural clinical program, funded by theCommonwealth Government Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program. As RuralMedEd is locally based.locally led and locally governed, it ensures a focused rural stream for the Griffth University School of Medicine andDentistry.
Our research program is supported by clinical research academics living and working in rural Queensland
We have been successful in funding from Destination Australia with 10 scholarships for Cert lV in Allied HealthAssistance.
Our Considering Medicine and Aspire2Health high school programs aim to increase the number of rural andindigenous students graduating from health courses.
