Overview
Introduction
Melbourne Polytechnic, formerly known as North Melbourne Institute of Technology and Further Education, was established in 1988 by the merger of Preston Institute of Technology and Collingwood Institute of Technology. It was renamed to its current name in 2014.
Instructions for use New students who start online studies at home or overseas and do not choose to receive the International Online Scholarship will receive a 10% or 20% discount on tuition fees for all periods of study
To receive the 10% scholarship:
1. Successfully completed a Year 12 equivalent course with a grade of 65% or above
2. Successfully completed an Australian Certificate of Vocational Studies IV and above with a grade of 65% or above (competency-based grades are not accepted)
3. Successfully completed tertiary studies with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5-2.9 (if using a 4-point GPA system) or 5.5-5.9 (if using a 7-point GPA system)
To receive the 20% scholarship:
1. Successfully completed a Year 12 equivalent course with a grade of 70% or above
2. Successfully completed an Australian Certificate of Vocational Studies IV and above with a grade of 70% or above (competency-based grades are not accepted)
3. Successfully completed tertiary studies with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above (if using a 4-point GPA system) 5-point GPA system) or a grade point average (GPA) of 6.0 or above (if using a 7-point GPA system)
