This qualification defines the skills and knowledge required of an Engineering Tradesperson - Fabrication within metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries. The qualification has been specifically developed to meet the needs of apprentices in the above trade.
This qualification must be undertaken through a Training Contract or through formal trade recognition assessment processes.
The skills associated with this qualification are intended to apply to a wide range of fabrication work, including undertaking metal fabrication, structural steel erection, sheetmetal work, welding, blacksmithing and surface finishing.
This qualification is designed to provide an industry recognised skills profile related to trade work as an Engineering Tradesperson - Fabrication.
Assessment of some units of competency must, where indicated, include evidence of the candidate’s performance in a functioning workplace where there is a sufficient range of appropriate tasks and materials to cover the scope of application of those units. All outcomes must reflect the standard of performance inherent in the job.

100 Points of Identification
The 100 Points of Identification is a system used in Australia to verify a person's identity. You need to provide different types of documents to reach 100 points, such as a passport, driver's license, and bank statements. This is typically used for opening bank accounts, renting properties, or other situations requiring identity verification.
Australia Unique Student Identifier Registration Number
An Australian USI registration number is a unique registration number provided by the Australian Government to identify the individual learning record of each Australian learner. This registration number is mainly used for students to participate in various types of education training in Australia, such as studying TAFE, university, vocational training, etc. By registering with the USI number, the learner's personal information and learning record can be associated with achievements.
Resume
To apply for RPL assessment eligibility, submit a verified resume (PDF format), including all work experience, in chronological order, with the most recent experience preferred. The curriculum vitae may include internship experience and should not exceed three A4 pages in length.
White Card
The White Card is a safety training certificate for the construction industry in Australia. It proves that the holder has completed basic work health and safety training, which is a requirement for working on construction sites.
AUS Visa Grant Letter
This is an official authorization issued by the Australian Government that allows the holder to enter, stay, and/or work in Australia for a specified period.
Job Recommendation Letter

20 -25 photos
It is required to submit 20-25 photos, which can fully and truthfully show the applicant's work experience and skills, help the evaluator make accurate judgments, and improve the possibility of application approval. The full face must be shown in all photos.
4 -5 videos (30s - 90s long each)
4 to 5 videos (30s-90s long each) are requested, and video descriptions are required for reasons including: verifying authenticity, demonstrating skills, supplemting written material, demonstrating communication skills, and providing context for the work environment.
Overall, video descriptions can make the RPL review process more transparent and intuitive, and help reviewers assess your abilities and experience more fully and accurately, thus increasing the success rate of RPL applications. The full face must be shown in all videos.
