As the end of the year approaches, we look forward optimistically to a successful 2026 and take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your strong support throughout 2025. This year, the Australian market has faced many challenges, and we genuinely value your ongoing partnership, resilience, and commitment to future students.
Please note that the university's official Christmas and New Year holidays are from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026. During this period, the admissions team will provide appropriate operational support and strive to handle your inquiries and applications. During the festive season, we will continue to fully assist students in smoothly enrolling for the Autumn semester of March 2026.
Special Scholarships for International Students
In addition to our generousscholarship programs, we are pleased to remind you that there are currently two highly attractive special scholarships of $10,000 per year, renewable annually, available forinternational alumniandUAC applicants. These scholarships have no minimum GPA requirement and are applicable to all eligible majors.
We strongly recommend that you reconnect with alumni students and actively promote these excellent opportunities, especially for those considering graduate programs. For domestic agents supporting Year 12 (HSC) international students, please ensure that students are aware that they can be represented by you and enjoy this valuable $10,000 per year scholarship when enrolling at Western.
Announcement of New Indian Campus
Western Sydney University is delighted to officially announce, at a special event co-hosted with the Honorable Minister for Education, Jason Clare MP, that our proposed new campus in India will be located in Greater Noida.
Our new campus is an important part of the vision to 'bring Western Sydney to the world and bring the world to Western Sydney.' As an institution that has ranked first globally for four consecutive times in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, we are committed to working with communities to create outstanding outcomes for students and communities both domestically and internationally.
This expansion is a key component of our 'One University' global network, aimed at providing world-class education and impactful research. The new campus will be located in one of the buildings of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Northern India.
We will update you as soon as possible on the planned opening date of this campus so that you can promote this exciting new campus learning opportunity to students.
