The Mitchelle Institute is now open for applications from research candidates. The Mitchelle Institute is a leading policy think tank and research center dedicated to advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the fields of education policy, education systems, and educational environments. Currently, the institute is focusing on five key research areas and is offering a limited number of research positions, inviting researchers to participate in related projects. Applicants need to select one direction from the available research projects and further develop and deepen it to form their own research topic.
Applicants must choose one of the following five core research areas.
Successful candidates will be matched with a dedicated supervisor from the Mitchelle Institute, who will provide guidance and supervision throughout the research process.
Research project directions:
Project 1: Study on the participation of equity groups in higher education
Project 2: Comparison of participation in STEM disciplines vs. Social Sciences and Humanities
Project 3: Study on pathways to higher education for diverse learners
Project 4: Study on relevant academic pathways leading to career development in early childhood education
Project 5: Exploration of the low socioeconomic status (Low-SES) individual index in higher education
Application conditions:
- Completion of an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with a Distinction (or equivalent) in the final year
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0) or equivalent English proficiency score.

The Institute is currently focusing on five key research areas and is offering a limited number of positions for researchers to contribute to this work. Entry Criteria:
- Completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with an average grade of Distinction (or equivalent) in the final year.
- IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent
