UNSW College has now opened multiple 2026 scholarship programs. Please check out my summary.
1. International Student Award
Aimed at students from specific countries, applicable to Foundation Studies, Diploma, and Pre-Masters programs.
** Basically for students from poor countries, excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, etc. You can ignore this.
2.Regional Merit Scholarship
UNSW College offers scholarships valued at AUD 5,000 to 7,500 to students from eligible countries or regions.
Applicable to students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applying for Diploma, Foundation, and Pre-Masters.
East Asia / Central Asia: China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macau Special Administrative Region, Mongolia, South Korea, Taiwan
Application Requirements
Applicants may be eligible for the scholarship if they meet the following conditions:
- Have received an offer for UNSW College's 2026 Foundation Studies, Diploma, or Pre-Masters programs (including those who have accepted the offer);
- Hold a valid passport from one of the listed countries or regions above.
- Online application required: https://www.unswcollege.edu.au/regional-merit-scholarship#webform
- Applicants need to submit a 500-word English personal statement, including: Academic Achievements, Extracurricular Activities
- Students who receive a UNSW College scholarship will automatically become UNSW College Student Ambassadors and must participate in the college's promotional activities.
- This scholarship is only applicable to students enrolling in 2026. If a student withdraws or transfers to an ineligible course after enrollment, their scholarship eligibility will be revoked.
- Scholarships are awarded in rounds. Application deadlines: Round 1: December 19, 2025; Round 2: April 13, 2026; Round 3: July 20, 2026. All application materials must be submitted by the respective round deadlines.
3. Family Discount
Applicable to international and domestic students. Eligible family members include: parents, siblings, cousins, uncles, and aunts, who must meet one of the following conditions:

This scholarship is only applicable toNewly admitted students enrolling in 2026 for Foundation Studies or Diploma.Newly admitted students.
Scholarship amount: 10% tuition fee reduction
2 Not applicable to the following courses:
- Diploma of Business;
- Foundation Studies Commerce;
- Foundation Studies Commerce (Actuarial Studies).
Additionally:
- Government-sponsored students are not eligible to apply;
- Family scholarships cannot be combined with the UNSW International Student Award, but can be stacked with the UNSW College Regional Merit Scholarship;
- Scholarship deferral is permitted;
3 How to Apply
Applicants must submit the following materials to: scholarships@unswcollege.edu.au (must be submitted together when accepting the offer)
Required materials include:
- Full name, date of birth, and student ID of the family member;
- Proof of relationship documents (such as birth certificate, household register, statutory declaration, etc.);
- Graduation certificate (if applicable).
For siblings studying concurrently, the scholarship only applies to the second and subsequent enrolled students.
