The three-year Bachelor of Nursing program is currently in very high demand, and the February 2026 intake is nearly full.
We still have a small number of spots available for the April 2026 intake, which is open for applications. Please be sure to remind students who have received a full offer to accept it as soon as possible,
and students with conditional offers to meet their conditions promptly to secure their place.

Course Overview
- Duration: 3 years
- Intake: February
- Scholarships: 10% reduction in first-year tuition; subsequent years offer 10–30% scholarships based on the previous year's Weighted Average Mark (WAM)
- Professional Accreditation: Recognized by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC); graduates can register with AHPRA and practice in Australia
Entry Requirements
- Academic Requirements: Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent (must meet prerequisite subject requirements)
- English Requirements: IELTS overall score of 7.0 with no band below 7.0 (Writing 6.5), or PTE overall score of 66 with no section below 66 (Writing 56). AHPRA accepts two combined sittings. VTAC applicants must meet ATAR, EAL, and subject score requirements.
For students who do not meet the direct entry requirements
For students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for the Bachelor of Nursing, Victoria University (VU) offers an internal transfer pathway through the Bachelor of Health Science.
Students must provide a valid English test score as required before enrolling in the Nursing program and will be ranked for selection after completing four units in the Health Science program.
Once selected, students will receive credit exemption for four units in the Bachelor of Nursing.

- Students will need to provide a valid English test score as required above before Bachelor of Nursing enrolment and go through ranking system after completing four units in the Bachelor of Health Science.
- Once successfully selected for transfer, they will receive four units of credit exemption towards the Bachelor of Nursing.
