1. 2025 Semester 3 Intake - Census Date Approaching

RMIT's Semester 3 intake has officially begun.

Please remind your students not to miss the upcoming census date to avoid affecting registration or tuition fee refunds:

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BP343) - Tuesday, November 4, 2025
• Master of Business Administration (MC199) - Tuesday, November 4, 2025
• Master of Project Management (MC210) - Tuesday, November 4, 2025

2. Temporary Adjustment to English Requirements for International Australian Year 12 Students

For international students completing Australian Year 12 courses, the English requirements have been adjusted. Starting from the 2026 intake:

• If the student did not take a suitable English subject in Year 12, or
• The English or EAL academic performance did not meet RMIT's English language requirements,

Students will be able to meet the English requirements by submitting official English test scores (such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc.).

This change provides greater flexibility for international students.

3. Arrival Dates for Under 18 Students (CAAW)

• RMIT has released the 2026 arrival dates for under 18 students (requiring a CAAW letter).
• Please note: The airport pickup service provided by RMIT will be suspended from December 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026. The service will resume on January 2, 2026.
• Students need to plan ahead to ensure a smooth entry.

As always, this is an important time for both students and agents to stay across key dates and milestones — please remind your students of the upcoming census dates to ensure they don’t miss any critical deadlines.

The upcoming census dates for Semester 3 are:

Bachelor of Business (BP343) - Tuesday, 4 November 2025

Master of Business Administration (MC199) - Tuesday, 4 November 2025

Master of Project Management (MC210) - Tuesday, 4 November 2025

Temporary change to English Language Proficiency Requirement for International Australian Year 12 Students

There has been a change to English language proficiency requirements for international students completing their Australian Year 12 qualification. These students applying for intakes in 2026 will have the option to submit an approved English language proficiency test if:

they did not complete an appropriate English subject as part of their Year 12 studies, or

their study scores in English or EAL did not meet our English language proficiency requirement.

This change provides greater flexibility for international students, allowing them to still meet our admission requirements through a recognised English language test.

Arrival Dates Announced for Under 18 Students Requiring CAAW

The 2026 arrival dates for under 18 students requiring a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) letter have been published. These details are crucial for planning student arrivals and ensuring compliance with welfare requirements.

Please be aware that the airport pickup service for students under RMIT's CAAW will not be available from Wednesday, 24 December 2025, to Thursday, 1 January 2026, due to the holiday period. The service will resume on Friday, 2 January 2026. Students and agents should plan accordingly to ensure smooth arrivals.
