UTS continuously reviews its course offerings to ensure our curriculum remains highly relevant to the needs of students and employers.

Based on a variety of considerations, including long-term enrollment trends and the relevance of courses to the industry, we have decidedto temporarily suspend new student intakes for some courses,up to and including the Autumn 2026 semester. The suspended courses are mostly those with lower student enrollment numbers.

In the coming weeks, we will contact prospective students who have already applied or received offers to inform them that the intakes for the relevant courses have been temporarily suspended and discuss alternative options with them to assist in a smooth transition.

Since most of the suspended courses themselves have limited enrollment numbers, we anticipate that approximately5%of international students holding offers will be directly affected. Among these students, some have not yet accepted their offers, some may hold conditional offers, and others may already be enrolled in pathway programs. If any students you have assisted in recruiting are affected, we will also ensure that you are promptly notified.

UTS continually reviews its course offerings as we want to make sure our curriculum is relevant to what students and employers need. We have therefore decided to temporarily suspend new student intakes forsome courses up to and including Autumn 2026 semester, based on a range of criteria including enrolment trends over time and relevance of the course to industry. The courses being suspended are those which have low student enrolments.

Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting future students who have applied for or received offers for these courses, letting them know that the intakes are temporarily suspended, and discussing alternative options to help them through the change process.

Given the majority of courses that are being temporarily suspended have limited numbers, we anticipate about 5% of international students holding offers may be directly impacted. Some of these students have not yet accepted their offers, others may have conditional offers and some may already be enrolled in pathway programs. If any students you have assisted UTS to recruit are impacted, we will also ensure you are informed.
