1. Applications for the third semester of 2025 are now open
RMIT has now opened applications for the third semester of some courses (starting in September and October 2025). Currently available courses include:
- Diploma in Information Technology (C5402)
- Diploma in Business (C5406)
- Bachelor of Business (BP343)
- Master of Business Administration (MC199)
- Master of Project Management (MC210)
2. Application instructions and selection process for the Bachelor of Medical Imaging course (first semester of 2026)
The **Bachelor of Medical Imaging course (BP321)** for the first semester of 2026 will adopt a competitive ranking selection.
All international students intending to apply must submit complete application materials by Friday, September 26, 2025.
The international course webpage and application page have been updated to reflect this requirement.
If the application materials are incomplete or still under review by the college, the RMIT international admissions team will proactively contact the applicant to ensure awareness of this schedule.
3. New courses for the first semester of 2026 are now available
RMIT University will officially launch new master's courses for international students in the first semester of 2026:
Master of Applied Science (Acupuncture) - MC024
This course combines traditional Chinese acupuncture theory with Western medical diagnostic methods, emphasizing evidence-based practice, suitable for students wishing to become registered acupuncturists in Australia.
Students will receive extensive clinical observation and internship training during their studies, with practice platforms including the RMIT Health Science Clinical Center and overseas Chinese medicine hospital internship bases.
Upon completion of this course, graduates will be eligible to apply for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to become qualified acupuncture practitioners.
Admission requirements:
Completion of an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in nursing, medicine, physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, naturopathy, clinical science, or health science, and meeting the following prerequisites or equivalents:
Cell biology (biological sciences) Human physiology Human anatomy (whole body) Pathology Immunology Microbiology Clinical practice Western medical diagnosis
It may currently be stated on the official website that student visa applications cannot be submitted, but starting from S1 2026, student visa applications can be submitted.

RMIT’s Semester 3 intake is now open for selected programs starting in September and October 2025. Students can apply for:

Application Deadline and Selection Process – Bachelor of Medical Radiation, Semester 1 2026
Applications for the Bachelor of Medical Radiation program (BP321) will be subject to a competitive ranking process. To be considered for Semester 1 2026 entry, all international applicants must submit complete applications by Friday 26 September 2025.
Both the international program page and apply page have been updated to reflect this requirement. The RMIT International Admissions team will contact applicants with incomplete documentation or applications currently under review with the College to ensure they are informed of this timeline.
