University of New South Wales update

We are about to send notifications to students who have been admitted to UNSW, informing them of the latest adjustments regarding the admission deadlines.

This measure aims to better manage this round of admissions and ensure that students have sufficient time to obtain visa results and smoothly catch up with the commencement of Term 3, 2025.

1. Key deadlines

The following are the updated deadlines* for applying for a full offer (Full Offer) for Term 3, 2025 at UNSW:

• Friday, July 25, 2025, is the last day to submit all supplementary materials required to meet the admission conditions.
• Thursday, July 31, 2025, if the materials submitted by the students meet the admission criteria, we will issue an unconditional offer (Unconditional Offer) by this day. This is the final deadline for issuing unconditional offers.
• Monday, August 4, 2025, is the last day to accept an unconditional offer or an updated offer. Students need to complete the offer acceptance in the Applicant Portal and provide proof of tuition deposit payment.

Please actively urge students to complete the submission of all materials related to admission conditions and confirmation of admission before the above deadlines.

If a student has received an unconditional offer, they need to complete the acceptance procedures by the date indicated in the offer letter or by August 4, 2025, whichever is earlier.

⚠️ If the operation is overdue, it will not be processed, and a new application will need to be submitted to apply for admission in future semesters.

If a student is unable to meet the conditions or complete the offer acceptance procedures on time, they can submit a deferral application before 11:59 pm on August 4, 2025 (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

We will shortly communicate to your offer holders, informing them of changes to offer deadlines. These steps are necessary to manage our intake and ensure that your students have the best possible opportunity to receive a visa outcome and arrive to campus atTerm 3, 2025commencement.

Key deadlines

Revised deadlines* for a full Term 3 offer with UNSW are as follows:

Friday, 25 July 2025— Last day to provide any further documents required for assessment to meet the conditions of an offer.

Thursday, 31 July 2025— If the documentation provided satisfies our admissions criteria, this will be the last day an unconditional offer will be issued.

Monday, 4 August 2025— The last date to accept any revised or unconditional offer. Your students should have accepted any offer through the applicant portal and be able to provide proof of deposit payment.

Please encourage your students to take prompt action to meet any outstanding conditions of their offer within the relevant deadlines. Where an unconditional offer has been issued, this should be accepted by the date stated on their offer letter or byMonday, 4 August(whichever is sooner).

Any relevant action taken after these dates will not be processed and a new application will be required for a future UNSW intake. If your students are unable to meet their conditions or accept their offer, they canrequest a deferralbefore11:59pm on 4 August 2025 (AEST).
