墨尔本大学将统一允许学生在 2025年8月10日(星期日)之前完成注册并抵达,以便 2025年8月11日(星期一)正式开始上课。
请注意:部分课程不适用此次延迟报到安排(详见下方课程清单)。
一、若学生在 2025年7月21日 前仍未获签
请您协助填写学生签证查询表(student visa enquiry form),并提供以下信息:
- 邮件主题:Late arrival to Melbourne
- 咨询内容:学生全名、学生ID、课程名称、说明签证仍在审批中
二、学生须完成入学准备流程
请确保学生已完成学校的 Get Started 入学注册步骤及所有相关行政注册手续。虽然延迟到达被允许,但学校 不会因延迟到达而提供特殊学术宽免(special consideration)。
请不要在社交媒体或公共平台上转载此通知内容。
三、不适用延迟抵达的课程
以下课程不适用此延期政策:
研究类课程(Higher Degree Research programs)
教育学院(Faculty of Education):

- Master of Applied Positive Psychology
医学、牙医与健康科学学院(Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences):
- Bachelor of Biomedicine (Honours)
- Master of Biomedical Science
理学院(Faculty of Science):
- Master of Science (Biosciences)
- Master of Science (Chemistry)
- Master of Geoscience
Late arrival information for students
The University of Melbourne would like to extend our appreciation again to the work your team is currently doing to support our future student community joining us in Melbourne for the start of Semester 2, 2025.
We are aware that visa applications for some of our commencing students are delayed and to facilitate their arrival to campus, the University of Melbourne will be allowing a general extension (*course exclusions apply) for our students to be enrolled and arrive before Sunday 10 August 2025, ready to commence classes by Monday 11 August 2025.
If your student is still waiting on their visa application by 21 July 2025, please let us know by completing the student visa enquiry form. Make sure to include the following information:
- Subject: Late arrival to Melbourne
- Enquiry description: Full name, student ID number, course name, and a note that the student visa application outcome is pending.
As always, your students should refer to the Get Started pages and ensure they have already set up their student accounts and complete the administrative enrolment. Whilst the extension is in place, special consideration will not be granted based on late arrival.
Please also do not reproduce this information and share on social media.

The University has been asked by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to share and help ensure students’ arrival into Australia is as smooth as possible, by providing education about what to pack before they travel to Australia.
The Department has developed a studying in Australia flyer and biosecurity poster for inclusion in your pre-departure kit for incoming students. Additional biosecurity resources you may wish to provide to incoming students through your channels:

Students’ friends and family who send care packages are encouraged to check what is allowed before sending anything to Australia: Bringing or mailing goods to Australia.
