ANU updates (application deadline for the second semester of 2025; late arrival guidelines; latest arrival time requirements for each college)

1. Semester 2, 2025 – Deadline for Accepting Offers

• Offshore applicants: Currently closed
• Onshore applicants: Open until July 10, 2025

2. Late Arrival Due to Visa Delays

Our admissions team is closely monitoring the visa status of incoming students. For students who have not received visa approval by the start of Semester 2, the university will contact them directly to provide guidance on late arrival and registration.

Please remind students to check their emails regularly (including spam/junk folders). If students do not receive late arrival instructions, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Late Arrival Guidance

Note: Once students receive their Welcome email and login information, they must complete course registration as soon as possible and start studying from the first week, even if they have not yet arrived in Australia.

4. The latest arrival time requirements for each college are as follows:

College of Science & Medicine

• Chemistry majors: Must arrive by Week 1
• Other majors: Must arrive by Monday of Week 3 (August 4, 2025)

College of Asia & the Pacific

• All students: Must arrive by Monday of Week 3 (August 4, 2025)

College of Arts & Social Sciences

• All students: Must arrive by Monday of Week 3 (August 4, 2025)

College of Systems & Society

• All students: Must arrive by Monday of Week 3 (August 4, 2025)

College of Law, Governance & Policy

• All students: Must arrive by Monday of Week 3 (August 4, 2025)

College of Business & Economics

• All students: Must arrive by Monday of Week 5 (August 18, 2025)

**Note:** Merely arriving in Australia is not considered sufficient to meet the requirements. Unless approved for distance learning or offshore study, students must personally arrive at the Canberra campus.

Please note that students must enrol in their courses as soon as they receive their Welcome email and login details. They must begin their studies from Week 1 as instructed, even if they are not yet onshore.
