Australian National University 2025 S2 update (overseas applications closed, domestic applications can be submitted late; NOSC reaches 80%; application fee increases by 150 AUD from July 1st;)

Please check below for important updates from ANU regarding applications for Semester 2 2025:

1. Application and acceptance status for Semester 2 2025

For offshore applicants:

• We no longer accept any special consideration requests for late applications or additional document submissions.
• All pending applications will be processed by this Thursday.
• The deadline for accepting offers is June 30, 2025.

For onshore applicants:

• We will still consider late applications. Please follow the application steps in the email below.
• Additional document submissions are accepted.
• The deadline for accepting offers is July 10, 2025.
  

2. NOSC update

ANU has now reached 80% NOSC (Nominal Occupancy Student Capacity).

3. Application fee adjustment from July 1, 2025

From July 1, 2025, the international application fee at ANU will increase to AUD150.

4. Change of preference/course preference request

Please use the following form 'Request for International Application Re-Assessment' to apply for a change in preference of programs or intake times.

I am writing to provide you with key updates on Semester 2 2025 applications and acceptances, and upcoming changes in ANU admissions.

Semester 2 2025 applications and acceptances

For offshore applicants,

• We have closed for any special consideration for late applications or the provision of additional documents.
• All the pending applications will be finalized by this Thursday.
• Acceptance deadline is 30 June 2025.

For onshore applicants,

• We will consider late applications, and please follow the application steps in my email below.
• Provision of documents is accepted.
• Acceptance deadline is 10 July 2025.

NOSC update

• We have now reached 80% NOSC.

Application fees change from 1 July 2025

• From 1 July 2025, ANU international application fee will increase to AUD150.

Change of preference request
