Please check the important updates on the UC English Language Program at ANU.


This program is offered as part of the Australian National University (ANU) English Language Program, jointly provided by ANU and the University of Canberra College (UCC).


The 20-week English Language Program for the August 2025 intake is now open for applications. Students holding an ANU conditional offer that includes English language requirements may be eligible to apply.


Key dates for the August 2025 intake are as follows:

  • Submit ANU application by June 18;
  • Submit UC ELICOS application by June 23;
  • Accept both offers by July 7;
  • The program will commence on August 11, 2025.


Special Notes

  • Although the official deadline is approaching, the school may accept late applications at its discretion until June 30;
  • Due to attendance requirements, students must successfully obtain their visa and arrive in Canberra to report by Friday, August 15, 2025;
  • Once the application is submitted, please send an email to acceptance@anu.edu.au, and the school will issue the offer within 24 hours;

Accommodation Benefits

  • Students participating in this 20-week ELICOS program are also eligible for the Semester 2 accommodation rebate.


Notification of Application Fee Adjustment

From July 1, 2025, the ANU international student application fee will increase to AUD 150,

to align with industry standards. Please note that this adjustment will not affect applications submitted before July 1, 2025.



ELICOS 20-week update

We are excited to share an important update on the UC English Language Program (CRICOS Code: 059330F), delivered as part of the ANU English Language Program in collaboration with the University of Canberra College (UCC).


The 20-week English Language Program for the August 2025 intake is now open for applications. This extended option provides international students with enhanced support to meet English language requirements before commencing their studies at ANU in Semester 1, 2026. Students holding an ANU conditional offer that includes English language requirements may be eligible to apply.


Key Dates for the August 2025 Intake:


  • Apply to ANU by 18 June
  • Apply to UC ELICOS by 23 June
  • Accept both offers by 7 July
  • Program commences 11 August 2025


  • As the deadline to apply is rapidly approaching, considerations can be made for late requests. Applications can be considered up to 30th June.Please note that due to attendance requirements, students must secure their visa and arrive in Canberra to commence the program no later than Friday 15 August.Once the application been submitted, please send an email toacceptance@anu.edu.auand the offer can be issued within 24 hours. Please discuss any details with your regional manager.

Application fee changes from 1 July 2025

From 1 July 2025, the ANU international application fee will increase to $150 in line with sector benchmarks. Please note that this change will not affect any applications submitted before 1 July 2025.
