VU Brisbane and Sydney Campuses Officially Announce:

The Master of Education program (EMED) is now available at Victoria University's Sydney campus (VU Sydney) and Brisbane campus (VU Brisbane), and applications are open for the upcoming July intake.

This postgraduate education program focuses on social justice, sustainability, and ethical practice, aiming to equip students with the skills and confidence to address educational challenges and opportunities in various environments, such as school systems, universities, communities, government, and industry.

Under the guidance of experienced and passionate educators, students will delve into advanced educational theories and further enhance their teaching practice abilities.

2. English Entry Requirements:

3. Ways to Waive English Requirements:

One of the following three situations can be considered as meeting the English language requirements:

1. Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study in a recognized English-speaking country within the past five years;
2. Completion of at least one year of master's study in a recognized English-speaking country within the past five years;
3. Completion of at least one year of full-time master's or higher-level study in Australia within the past two years.

4. Pathway Opportunity

The Master of Education (EMED) can be packaged with the following courses:

Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education (EGEC)

After completing EGEC, students will receive:

• 96 credit points (equivalent to 8 unit courses)
• and can directly enter the Master of Education with a guaranteed place

5. Scholarship Information

2025 Early Childhood Education International Scholarship:

Applicable to all new international students starting early childhood education courses in 2025.

• Note: GDEC still offers a 20% scholarship, applicable to all intakes in 2025.
• Master of Education postgraduate part can have a 25% scholarship
• Students studying EMED at Sydney or Brisbane campuses can enjoy a 25% tuition fee reduction for the entire standard study period.

Finally, a reminder that VU's Sydney and Brisbane campuses temporarily cannot offer online courses!!!!
