We are here to provide you with information aboutthe University of New South Wales (UNSW) Master of Laws program (Master of Laws, course code 9201) for Term 3, 2025 applicantsimportant updates.
Currently,the final official admission round for the Master of Laws (9201) program for the year 2025 has ended.
Therefore,the application channel for this program for 2025 will be officially closed,and for applicants without a second choice of course, their application for Term 3, 2025 will be automatically deferred to Term 1, 2026.
Current Term 3 applicants note:
If applicantsdo not wish to defer their application to Term 1, 2026, please contactUNSW Admissions Office (UNSW Admissions),to apply for withdrawal of the application and (if eligible) apply for a refund of the application fee.
The eligibility for application fee refund is explained as follows:
- If the application has not been reviewed, you are eligible to apply for a refund;
- If the application has been reviewed and placed in a pending state due to insufficient materials, you will not be eligible for a refund.
⚠️ If you need to withdraw your application, you mustcontact UNSW Admissions by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 (Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST)to process.
Students who have received a formal offer or conditional offer, the previously notified acceptance deadline will remain valid.
We understand that this change may cause inconvenience to students. UNSW does not make such decisions lightly, but we must reasonably control the scale of enrollment to ensure the best learning experience for all new students.
Important update for Master of Laws applicants for Term 3, 2025
We’re contacting you today with some key updates forTerm 3, 2025applicants to the Master of Laws (9201) program.
We have now passed the final advertised offer rounds for our Master of Laws (9201) program for 2025. As a result, we will be closing the program for 2025 and will move any outstandingTerm 3, 2025applications toTerm 1, 2026for prospective students who do not have a 2nd study preference.
Term 3, 2025 current applicants
If applicants do not want their application moved toTerm 1, 2026, please contactUNSW Admissionswho will withdraw their application and issue an application fee refund, if applicable. Refund eligibility is determined by the status of an application.
If you wish to withdraw your application, you must contactUNSW Admissionsby4pm on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 (AEST).
Previously communicated accept deadlines for full and conditional offer holders will remain.
