Curtin University Update: Bachelor of Nursing (July 2025, one-year program, adjusted PTE: PTE overall score of 72, with no less than 72 in each component)

We are very pleased to announce that for the July 2025 intake,Bachelor of Nursing (Registered Nurse Conversion) BSc Nursing (Registered Nurse Conversion)the PTE entry language score standard has been updated.

Only applicable for the July 2025 intake, students applying for this course need to meet the followingPTE score requirements:

• PTE overall score of 72, with no sub-score below 72.

The number of places for this intake has been increased.

As the application deadline is approaching, we have arranged a dedicated team to ensure that applications for this course are processed withintwo business days. Please submit your application as soon as possible to ensure that the offer letter is issued before the deadline.

Please note: As this change is the latest update, our official website and applicant portal may still display the old language requirements. Please ignore the previously displayed standards as we are gradually updating the relevant information.

Admission requirements note:

• Hold an AQF Diploma or higher;
• Have at least 3 months of full-time clinical work experience as a registered nurse in the past five years;
• Possess a registered nurse practice qualification from another country (this qualification must still be valid at the time of course commencement).

Orientation Date: June 30, 2025
Course Start Date: July 7, 2025

Revised PTE Scores for BSc Nursing (Registered Nurse Conversion Stream – 1 Year Program) for July, 2025

We are excited to announce a revised PTE entry score for our BSc Nursing (Registered Nurse Conversion) course for July, 2025.

For July, 2025onlyapplicants to the BSc Nursing Registered Nurse Conversion course will need to obtain a PTE entry score as below:

PTE Overall of 72, with no skill band below 72.

Additional places are now available for this intake. With the application deadline fast approaching, we have resourced a dedicated team to turn BSc Nursing applications around within2 business days. Please lodge your applications now so that we can ensure offers are released prior to the application deadline.
