An important update regarding the English entry requirements for our Bachelor of Nursing program, aligned with the latest NMBA English language skills standards.

Key changes

· Reduction of the writing component score from IELTS 7.0 to 6.5 (or equivalent)

· Update of the IELTS 7.0 equivalent PTE score from 65 to 66, and IELTS 6.5 equivalent from 58 to 56

· Extension of the test result validity period for combined sittings from 6 to 12 months

· Addition of the Cambridge English test to the list of accepted language tests

The main changes are as follows:

  • The IELTS writing component score requirement has been reduced from 7.0 to 6.5 (or equivalent)
  • The IELTS 7.0 equivalent PTE score has been updated from 65 to 66, and the IELTS 6.5 equivalent PTE score has been updated from 58 to 56
  • The validity period of combined test results has been extended from 6 to 12 months
  • Addition of Cambridge English test scores to the list of accepted language tests
