New spots for the July 2025 Comprehensive Foundation Program are now open
The Melbourne University Foundation Program has expanded the enrollment size for the July 2025 intake of the Comprehensive Foundation Studies Program.
The demand for this program is very strong, and we look forward to welcoming students from diverse backgrounds this year.

Updates on Admission Scores for Commerce and Biomedical Programs at the University of Melbourne
We are pleased to inform you that the University of Melbourne has adjusted the guaranteed admission scores for Trinity students applying for 2026 and 2027 intakes:
- From mid-year intake (Semester 2) in 2025: The guaranteed admission score for the Bachelor of Biomedicine has been reduced to 86 (originally 90, a reduction of 4 points).
- From the start-year intake (Semester 1) in 2026: The guaranteed admission score for the Bachelor of Commerce has been reduced to 85 (originally 86, a reduction of 1 point).
In addition, the application opening time for the University of Melbourne has been brought forward. Please pay attention to the relevant time nodes so that students can complete their applications in time.
Late applications will only be accepted if there are remaining spots in the course. Some courses have different application deadlines due to their special assessment processes, such as all Fine Arts and Music courses.
Email addresses of incoming students
Choosing the right elective courses is very important for students, as it is the first step to ensure they meet the admission requirements for their desired undergraduate program at the University of Melbourne.
If course selection is done too late, students may not be able to secure their preferred courses, which could also cause difficulties in scheduling and affect our ability to arrange suitable teachers for them.
To ensure students can successfully enroll in their first-choice courses, please provide us with the student's email address at least four weeks before the start of the semester. We do not want students to miss the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

We have expanded our capacity in the July Comprehensive foundation studies program. We have very strong demand for this intake and are looking forward to hosting a diverse group this year. We welcome additional students interested to commence in July.

Revised grades for students seeking to study Commerce and Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne
We’re pleased to advise you of changes to the guaranteed entry scores for Trinity students applying for the University of Melbourne’s 2026 and 2027 intakes.
- From mid year (Semester 2, 2025) onwards: Bachelor of Biomedicine – 86 (reduction of 4 points)
- From start-year (Semester 1, 2026) onwards: Bachelor of Commerce – 85 (reduction of 1 point)
In addition, application dates for the University of Melbourne have been brought forward.

Late applications will only be accepted for programs with places remaining. Some programs have assessment processes that require different application deadlines.
