2025Semester 2 Early Bird Acceptance Scholarship

It is well known that students are facing issues with extended visa processing times and visa fees. La Trobe University's visa approval rate exceeds the average of other universities, for which we encourage students to accept their offers and apply for visas on time.

We will provide students with2025 Semester 2theEarly Bird Acceptance Scholarship. As always, this scholarship can reduce the first year's tuition by 5%, and when combined with theLa Trobe Excellence Scholarshipat its maximum rate, it can reduce tuition by up to 30%. At La Trobe University, we are committed to making our degrees more accessible through a series of merit-based scholarships, thereby helping students succeed.

In Semester 2 and the Summer Semester, we also offer a wide range of scholarships for high-achieving students.

Muhammad's Data and Machine Learning Journey at La Trobe University

Muhammad IrtizaWith a rich technical background and a pursuit of excellence, he pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at La Trobe University and co-founded theStudent Data and Technology Association.

Muhammad's research at La Trobe University focuses on how machine learning can help find solutions to real-world problems: from delivering packages in the shortest time with minimal fuel consumption to supporting emergency services by planning the fastest routes. These AI-based applications help solve problems by mimicking natural behaviors, and Muhammad's research contributes to reducing transit times and improving service reliability.

His research has had a significant impact, earning himfirst place at the ACM Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference, the largest peer-reviewed conference in the field of evolutionary computation.

At La Trobe, we support outstanding students like Muhammad through the La Trobe AI Scholarship, empowering future AI leaders and encouraging them to innovate.

Nursing and Sports Disciplines Lead in QS Rankings

We are honored to rank42nd globallyin the 2025 QS World University Rankings, third in Victoria, and sixth in Australia. The Sports discipline follows closely, ranking47th globally, third in Victoria, and ninth in Australia.

These outstanding rankings attest to our significant investment in health innovation, including our new state-of-the-art facilities in Victoria, clinical simulation labs at the Bundoora and regional campuses, the expansion of the Shepparton campus, and the Dental and Oral Health Clinical School at the Bendigo campus, serving our Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) students.
