Monash University

On March 26, Monash University released important date reminders for the 2025 S2 offer letters. Considering the impact of MD111 on visa processing and the particular concerns of the teachers, we hereby provide further explanations and recommendations regarding the 2025 S2 timeline:

1. Encourage students to submit applications and confirm offers as early as possible
Submitting applications and accepting offers early allows students more time to process their visas, thereby reducing the risk of visa delays.

2. For students holding Conditional Offers
Students with Conditional Offers can apply for Conditional CoE to start the visa process earlier.

3. Accepting Offers after the Offer lapse date
Students can still accept offers after thelapse date on the offer letter.
Considering the current processing time for visas by the Australian Immigration Department under MD111 (Ministerial Direction 111) may be lengthy (12 to 16 weeks), we advise students to plan early and manage their time wisely.

Please note:The lapse date in the Offer does not mean the course capacity is full, but is intended to support students in completing their visa applications timely and effectively under the current MD111 policy.

We once again advise teachers to assist students in applying and confirming their offers as early as possible to mitigate the risk of visa processing delays.
