Due to the overwhelming success of the Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood) program, the number of applicants has far exceeded expectations.

The university has decided:

• Applications for the T3 (June) and T4 (August) semesters of 2025 at all campuses (including online) will officially close at 5:00 PM AEST on Friday, April 11th.
• Applications submitted before the deadline will continue to be processed, but no new applications will be accepted thereafter..
• If there are still students wishing to join the Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood) at Southern Cross University,applications for the T5 (October) semester remain open, providing students with the opportunity to continue participating in this high-quality program.

To ensure smooth enrollment and avoid missing out, we strongly advise students to accept their offers as soon as possible. Although no final deadline for accepting offers has been set yet, as course places near capacity, a new acceptance deadline may be introduced in the future.

Due to the tremendous success of the Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood) program with overwhelming demand for places, applications for the T3 (June) and T4 (August) intakes for all locations, including online, will close at5:00pm AEST on Friday, 11th April.

This is a testament to the program's reputation for excellence and the incredible work we’ve accomplished together to attract passionate future educators. Applications already in the pipeline by this deadline will be honoured, but no new applications will be accepted for these two intakes after this time. For those still eager to join the Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood) at Southern Cross University the T5 (October) intake remains open, offering continued opportunities for students to access this exceptional program.

To secure a student’s place and to avoid disappointment we encourage applicants to accept as soon as possible. While there is currently no earlier deadline for accepting offers, one may be introduced as we near placement capacity.
