2. Updates on health professional courses

1. Bachelor of Nursing (Bruce Campus, Canberra) for Semester 2, 2025 is full

The Bachelor of Nursing program at the University of Canberra's Bruce (Canberra) campus has reached its enrollment cap for Semester 2, 2025. Notifications have been sent to all agents and students who have not yet accepted their offers, with the following alternatives provided:

• Change of intake semester - Applications can be reassessed for Semester 1, 2026;
• Consider applying for other courses at the University of Canberra - Refer to the list of all open courses at the University of Canberra: Find a course - University of Canberra;
• Withdraw applicationFor applicants affected by this, please refer to the official notification email we previously sent.

2. Bachelor of Nursing (Sydney Hills Campus) for Semester 2, 2025 is closed to new applications

We are nearing the enrollment cap for the Bachelor of Nursing program at the University of Canberra's Sydney Hills campus for Semester 2, 2025, and the program is now closed to new applications.

All submitted applications will continue to be processed, but places are limited.

• If students have received unconditional offers, please accept them as soon as possible to secure a place.
• If students hold conditional offers and are awaiting the results of courses completed within Australia, they will be placed on a priority waiting list.

3. Popular quota courses at the University of Canberra (UC) for 2026 are about to open for applications!

UC's quota ranking courses refer to courses with a large number of applicants, intense competition, and limited places. The following courses will open for applications for **Semester 1, 2026** on April 1, 2025:

• Master of Medical Imaging
• Master of Nursing Practice - Graduate Entry
• Master of Speech Pathology

These courses will select students based on their GPA rankings, and offer letters will be issued uniformly at the beginning of each month starting from May 2025.

Students applying for these courses must meet the following conditions:

• English language requirements: IELTS or equivalent test scores (no more than 2 years old), with an overall score of no less than 7.0, and no less than 7.0 in each component.
• These courses do not offer packaged admissions with ELICOS language courses;
• Minimum GPA requirement: 5.0/7.0.
