Due to the high demand for this program and to ensure we can provide an exceptional educational experience, we have had to make the following adjustments to the admissions process:


Conditional offer holders for Term 2, 2025

Due to a surge in applications, we have adjusted the acceptance deadline for the Master of Laws (9201) for Term 2, 2025 to:

11:59 PM AEDT on Thursday, March 6, 2025


All affected offer holders must accept their offers by this time to secure their place in the program. Relevant students have been notified yesterday.

Specific requirements are as follows:
1️⃣ If students have not yet accepted their offers, **Thursday, March 6, 2025** is the final acceptance deadline.
2️⃣ All conditional offer holders must submit all outstanding documents through UNSW Apply Online by Friday, February 28, 2025, and accept their offers by Thursday, March 6.
✅ If unable to meet the offer conditions by this date, students are advised to submit a deferral request to postpone their offer to the next term. Deferral requests must be submitted before **Thursday, March 6**.

📌 Note: Students who have previously received a full offer will still follow the originally scheduled acceptance deadline.


Applicants for Term 2, 2025

We anticipate that the Master of Laws (9201) program for Term 2, 2025 will soon reach capacity.

Therefore, all incomplete applications for Term 2 will be automatically deferred to Term 3, 2025.

✅ If applicants do not wish to have their applications moved to Term 3, 2025, please contact the UNSW Admissions Enquiries team before Thursday, March 6, 2025, to withdraw the current application and, where applicable, receive a refund of the application fee.


Applicants for Term 3, 2025

Due to high application volumes, we have adjusted the offer rounds for the Master of Laws for **Term 3, 2025**.

Offers will be issued based on academic merit ranking and allocated according to program capacity.


The offer release rounds for the Master of Laws (9201) in 2025 are as follows:

  • March Round 4: Thursday, March 27, 2025
  • April Round 4: Thursday, April 24, 2025

Due to high demand, we have adjusted the acceptance deadline of allTerm 2, 2025 conditional offersfor the Master of Laws to11:59pm AEDT on Thursday, 6 March. To secure their place in the UNSW Master of Laws (9201), impacted offer holders must accept their offer by11:59pm AEDT on Thursday, 6 March*. Students have received notification of this yesterday.

If students have not already done so, they will need to accept their offer.Thursday, 6 March 2025is the revisedTerm 2, 2025accept deadline for the UNSW Master of Laws (9201).

Term 2, 2025 Applicants

We shortly expect to reach capacity for our Master of Laws (9201) program inTerm 2, 2025. As a result, we will automatically move any outstandingTerm 2, 2025applications toTerm 3, 2025. If applicants do not want their application moved toTerm 3, 2025please contactUNSW Admissions Enquirieswho will withdraw their application and issue them with a application fee refund if applicable. Applicants must contact this team byThursday, 6 Marchto be eligible for this withdrawal.


Term 3, 2025 Applicants

Due to high demand, we have adjusted the offer rounds that Master of Laws offers forTerm 3, 2025will be released in. Offers released will be issued on a merit-based ranking approach in line with program capacity.
